After spending about 15 years with the company, Steve Grad has left PSA/DNA. The company’s principal authenticator, Grad also made a name for himself appearing regularly on Pawn Stars to help Rick Harrison and the staff at Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas.
Grad departed PSA/DNA at the start of the month. While he doesn’t have anything firm in place, he said he decided to move on to look at other opportunities.
“I’ve been incredibly blessed to have worked with some of the most talented and incredibly gifted people in the authentication industry while thoroughly enjoying my time at PSA/DNA,” Grad said in a statement.
“It’s also been an honor and privilege to authenticate some of the finest pieces in the hobby including the Law of Baseball, the highest-graded Babe Ruth single-signed baseball, the only known Joe Jackson signed photograph and numerous other high-end pieces of American sports history.”
Grad started with PSA/DNA as a senior authenticator before becoming the company’s principal authenticator.
